Hutt Valley Branch meets twice a month from February to November, and an evening meeting in December.
Visitors are most welcome at our meetings, so come along and join us if you are interested. There is a $4 door charge for non-members.
The yearly programme of Branch meetings is varied. It includes:
- Speakers with expertise in fields of family history and local history interest
- Specialised Workshops
- Sessions solving research problems
Our meetings also include notices of interesting events coming up and the opportunity for members to share particuarly interesting family history "finds" they have made over the previous month.
Sometimes meetings are replaced with field trips to local sites of genealogical interest.
We meet at the Petone Public Library meeting room, 7-11 Britannia Street, Petone.
